ASSETtrac

ASSETtracASSETtrac is a software company specialising in physical asset identification and data management. Our relationship with MAB is strengthened through the use of the Bereavement Services Portal to publicise the annual Cemetery of the Year Awards. Since 1999 the company has created a range of modern tools to assist burial ground and crematorium managers to refine their administration procedures. These include:

  • Epitrace - supplying natural burial ground owners with microchips placed underground to mark graves and cremated remains, also for trees, site machinery and memorial identification.
  • The Bereavement Services Portal at www.bereavement-services.org is the UK's largest online directory of cemetery and crematorium operations, now receiving over 2000 hits a day. Many industry surveys are be carried out, reaching 1000 operators.
  • PRISM - delivery of memorial inspection software programs to accelerate test recording by dispensing with clipboards in favour of hand held machines, and promote the discovery and repair of unsafe memorials.
  • ICCoMply - a set of compliance programs for members of the ICCM.
  • Audit services - in the fields of health and safety, fire safety, and disability access.
  • BRAMM - a commission from The National Association of Memorial Masons to create a new website (www.bramm-uk.org) to administer the British Register of Accredited Memorial Masons scheme (BRAMM). Instead of written correspondence, this now enables burial authorities' online access to relevant information prior to masons carrying on work in cemeteries.
  • Epitaph - Tailor made development of bereavement services administration systems.

George Squire & Sons Funeral Service (Neville Funeral Service)

George Squire and Sons Funeral ServiceNeville Funeral Service has well over one hundred years experience in serving the community in time of bereavement. Competent and sympathetic staff are always available to help, advise and to carry out the wishes of those suffering the loss of relative or friend.

In 1976, George Squire & Sons, in Shefford was aquired, providing an opportunity to add a monumental department to further enhance their service, together with funeral offices and Chapels of Rest. A further office and Chapel was provided in Ampthill in 1987, created from a redundant church. This also became the base for our flower service which was introduced at this time. In 1990 we acquired Arnolds Funeral Service in Bedford, and then in 1997, G.Hall & Sons in Hemel Hempstead became part of our group of family businesses.

They still remain an independent company, retaining the skill and craftsmen capable of meeting all requirements. It is their policy to continue the very high standard of service handed down over the last century and to maintain the original maxim of "Respect and Economy".
