MAB Brochures
MAB offers memorial masons several comprehensive brochures for consumer / client distribution.
Say it Forever
The Memorial Awareness Board published the Say it Forever brochure in order to persuade the public of the value of memorialisation in stone.
It explains that a memorial is an important focal point for grief, and of all materials, stone is the most durable and the most natural. The Say it Forever brochure also gives advice on the types of stone memorials and lettering that are available.

The Ideal Cemetery and How to Achieve It
The Memorial Awareness Board published the “Ideal Cemetery Brochure” to help cemetery managers assess the services that their cemeteries offer. Neglected cemeteries often make the headlines with many suffering from lack of funding. The brochure is intended to persuade politicians (be it local or national) to devote more resources to cemeteries.
The Ideal Cemetery brochure is a useful guide for the decision-makers that influence the running of cemeteries. It should help cemetery managers to improve and expand the services that they offer so that they can provide the best service possible to the local community.

Don’t Scatter Fond Memories
The ‘Don’t Scatter Fond Memories’ leaflet is designed to make the public aware of the possibility of commemorating with an after cremation memorial. The leaflet encourages the public to consider this option before deciding what to do with their loved ones’ cremated remains.

Defining Grave Spaces
The “Defining Grave Spaces” brochure is aimed at cemetery managers, encouraging them to allow kerbsets. MAB feels that it is vital that Burial Authorities should provide as wide a range of memorials as possible if it is to better satisfy the needs of the bereaved.
Kerbsets mark out and protect the area of the grave and allow it to be planted and cared for. However many Burial Authorities do not allow kerbsets on the basis that they are difficult to maintain. The Defining Grave Spaces brochure explains that kerbsets do not necessarily make maintenance more difficult and highlights strategies for keeping maintenance to a minimum.
